Merav Yaakov became a citizen of the USA and moved to New Hampshire in 2011 with her husband and 2 children. Having become interested in politics as a result of following Ron Paul and his presidential campaigns, she learned about the Free State Project and decided that this was the place to live, work, and launch her new hobby of political activism!
Merav was born in Israel and met her husband Sylvain while living in Paris, after finishing her engineering degree there. They fell in love and have two beautiful and intelligent children who are “the bright lights of our life.” With the support and encouragement of her family, Merav has taken on many projects here in New Hampshire that require a lot of time and attention to detail.
Along with a full time job, she chairs the Get involved PAC that identifies, trains, and recruits pro liberty candidates to the NH state house. Not only does she work hard to find and train candidates, she co-produces the website LibertyBallot.com which is a collection of ALL state ballots with pro liberty candidates marked on them, making it easy for New Hampshire voters to know who the liberty leaning candidates are to vote for.
She can often be found volunteering for random for the FSP projects, and produced the very successful Liberty Forum 2015. The event, which was the first held in Manchester, featured a media room for podcasting, various speakers organized into interest-based tracks, a vendor showcase, children’s activities, and art workshops.
