After working hard to save up for a house, my fiancé and I left Massachusetts and moved with our two children to beautiful Weare, New Hampshire. Our dreams of hobby farming brought us here, where the land and homes are more affordable and we could still commute to our jobs in Massachusetts. I’m a nurse and he’s a mechanic, and I’m sure we will be able to find jobs closer to home when the time comes.
We’ve made friends, mostly through the Free State Project, and have found them to be welcoming, good-natured, and helpful. We are a homeschooling family, and the freedom for home educators here is wonderful. We love it here and appreciate the opportunities the FSP has brought us and look forward to being more involved in making our new home even better and more free.
Hello from Scotland! We are hoping to make a homestead in NH. We’d love to hear more stories of agri FSPrs! 🙂 Have a beautiful day!
