Darryl W Perry! What a guy. Free Stater, NH mover, Libertarian, husband, writer, sports enthusiast, podcaster, what am I missing?! This guy seems to do it all. We love Darryl and appreciate the hard work and dedication he brings to whatever he does. Some of the things he’s done for the FSP include volunteering at Liberty Forum and helping new movers find their way.
I first met Darryl at PorcFest when he signed up for the OnePotCookOff in 2010. He rocked the apron and made a fine pot of food. He was (and still is) charming, funny, and willing to help however he could. Through the years we’ve socialized at different events, but I didn’t see him much because we lived in different parts of the state. Now we both live in Manchester and I still don’t see him! That’s just how busy we both are.
Darryl has spent most of his adult life as an advocate & activist for peace and liberty.
Darryl moved from Alabama to Keene, NH on April 2012 and became a co-host on Free Talk Live shortly after moving. He left the show in January 2019. Perry was a Presidential candidate in 2016, having unsuccessfully sought the Libertarian Party nomination, and launched a limited write-in campaign in October 2016.
After the 2016 Libertarian National Convention, Perry formed Liberty Lobby LLC, now (New Hampshire Libertas), a crowd-funded lobbying firm, to lobby the New Hampshire Legislature in support of individual rights, minimal government and maximum freedom. Darryl served as Chair of the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire from September 2016 until April 2018.
He ran the 2018 NYC Marathon on Team Innocence Project, and will be a charity runner for Ronald McDonald’s House Charities in the 2019 Chicago Marathon. (EDIT has withdrawn from the Chicago Marathon due to a severe concussion)
