The Free State Project is pleased to announce that Jeremy Kauffman is joining its Board of Directors. Kauffman is the founder and CEO of LBRY.io, a New Hampshire-based blockchain company that produces and maintains a decentralized content sharing and publishing platform. He moved to New Hampshire in 2015 with his partner Rachel Goldsmith, who is Executive Director of the FSP. They live with their son in East Manchester.

Prior to founding LBRY, Kauffman founded TopScore, a startup that processes millions of dollars monthly in event and activity registrations. He is a passionate advocate of decentralized technology and freedom of information.

“Libertarians deserve a homeland,” says Kauffman, “just as all people do. The Free State Project is the most promising and successful endeavor to achieve this.”

“Jeremy brings management expertise, technological savvy, and financial support to the FSP,” says current Board chair Jason Sorens. “We couldn’t be more pleased to have someone of his stature backing the most exciting freedom movement in the country.”
